Villanova, Pa., January 14, 2020 – The Villanova School of Business (VSB) earned top-ten ranks in the annual U.S. News & World Report Best Online Graduate Business Programs, and the Best Online MBA ranking, earning the #3 and #9 spots respectively.
VSB has consistently placed highly in the Best Graduate Online Business Programs since the ranking’s inception in 2014, for its Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) and Master of Science in Church Management (MSCM) programs. The MSA exposes students to the entire analytics continuum to build a broad toolkit of analytics skills within the context of various business functions. This approach allows graduates to apply skills to ever-evolving business needs and make informed, sustainable decisions. The MSCM is a one-of-a-kind two-year online business program designed to empower church leaders to apply sound business principles to church management-related issues and decision making.
Both programs were built from the ground up with input from industry experts, for a fully tailored and application-based experience.
The Villanova Online MBA also ranked highly, further validating the School’s ability to deliver a high-quality learning experience for students regardless of the delivery mode. The Villanova Online program provides students with real-world experience alongside traditional academics, enabling students to excel in the workplace right away, and preparing them to tackle any business problem. The Online MBA offers the same curriculum, expert faculty, and NovaNation network as our top-ranked campus program in a flexible, convenient format.
The Villanova Online MBA was also ranked #5 for Best Online Programs for Veterans, a distinction the School is particularly proud of. VSB online graduate business programs also performed well in the Student Excellence and Student Engagement categories across the suite of graduate online program offerings. The Student Excellence score measures how selective a school is in admitting highly qualified applicants, and the Student Engagement score measures student satisfaction and instructor responsiveness.
Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, The Helen and William O’Toole Dean of VSB, notes, “Our consistent and ongoing success in the online environment is made possible by the exceptional strength of our faculty, curriculum, students, and support services.”
The methodology of U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of online graduate business programs emphasizes student engagement, admissions selectivity, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology capabilities. It also takes into account the reputation of the program among high-ranking business academic officials through a peer survey.
VSB is committed to providing a high-quality education and world-class student services at all levels. VSB is known for its teaching excellence, current research, academic rigor, state-of-the-art learning facilities and the integration of ethics and service into curricular and extracurricular experiences.
