2020 Poets & Quants Undergraduate B-School Ranking
Villanova, Pa. December 20, 2019 – The Villanova School of Business (VSB) is pleased to announce that the VSB undergraduate program placed #12 in the annual Poets&Quants for Undergrads ranking. VSB performed exceptionally well on the results of the extensive alumni survey, achieving the #8 spot in that portion of the ranking.
Now in its fourth year, the Poets&Quants for Undergrads ranking measures admission statistics, elements of the student experience, and employment outcomes. There were 97 schools included in the ranking this year, and inclusion was on an invitation-only basis. The methodology is based on average SAT scores and acceptance rates for the most recent incoming class of students, total starting compensation and full-time employment percentages for the graduating Class of 2019, and answers by alumni of the Class of 2017 to questions about their undergraduate experience.
“We are pleased with the results, and are ranked among some excellent schools,” said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, The Helen and William O’Toole Dean of VSB. “Our strong performance provides external validation for the high standard of quality VSB continually maintains, in support of our students’ educational experience. Our faculty and staff provide a challenging and applied curriculum and exceptional student services to ensure our students graduate prepared to become business leaders for a better world.”
