Bartley Hall

Villanova, Pa. December 13, 2018 – The Villanova School of Business (VSB) is pleased to announce that the VSB undergraduate program has been ranked as a top-ten business program, placing #8 in the annual Poets&Quants ranking. VSB performed exceptionally well on the results of the ranking’s extensive alumni survey, as well as our employment rate.

Now in its third year, the Poets&Quants ranking measures admission statistics, elements of the student experience, and employment outcomes. There were 88 schools included in the ranking this year, and inclusion was on an invitation-only basis. The Poets&Quants ranking is based on average SAT scores and acceptance rates for the most recent incoming class of students, total starting compensation and full-time employment percentages for the graduating Class of 2018, and answers by alumni of the Class of 2016 to questions about their undergraduate experience.

“We are pleased with the results, and are ranked among some excellent schools,” said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, The Helen and William O’Toole Dean of VSB. “This external recognition provides validation that VSB continually maintains a high standard of quality in all that we do to support our students’ educational experience. Our faculty and staff provide a challenging and applied curriculum and exceptional student services to ensure our students graduate prepared to become business leaders for a better world.”
