STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

As part of Villanova's commitment to the health and well-being of its community, the University works to ensure that our students have access to quality health insurance.

Villanova offers a University-sponsored health insurance plan through First Student, underwritten by United Healthcare. Students must take action to either enroll in or waive the University-sponsored plan during specific enrollment windows. It is not possible to join or waive the University-sponsored plan after those dates. Open enrollment deadlines are mid-September for annual coverage and late January for spring/summer coverage. Please check policy information for exact deadlines.

Health insurance is mandatory for all undergraduate matriculated students, international students and law school students. Please see below for specific guidelines for students and policy information for the Villanova University-sponsored plan.
