FACULTY WRITE-IN DAYS
Spring 2026
Writing alongside others socializes what can otherwise often be an isolating endeavor. Writing independently in a room of other faculty provides a sense of community around the challenge for academics to accomplish our writing and publication goals during the busy semester.
Join with Villanova faculty and post-docs from across disciplines for a day or half-day of scheduled writing, hosted by VIRS!
Write-Ins run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on an alternating Tuesday/Wednesday schedule. We begin with a brief goal setting exercise, then write independently until 12:00 p.m. Lunch is from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., followed by another writing block for before wrapping up for the day. VIRS provides coffee, snacks and lunch.
All Villanova faculty and postdocs are invited to join for a portion of the day or the entire day. To register for one or more sessions, click or tap the links below.
