Civil Engineering Seniors Awards Moles Scholarships
In 2019, Villanova University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Department entered into a new relationship with The Moles, a national fraternal organization dedicated to the heavy construction industry in the greater New York City area. Through a variety of programs, the students at 20 participating colleges and universities enjoy tremendous networking and learning opportunities related to tunnel, subway, sewer, foundation, marine and sub-aqueous projects. The Moles also support students through a Scholarships Fund, and this year Villanova Civil Engineering rising seniors Patrick Russo and Colin Donnelly were among the recipients.
This summer, Patrick, who is minoring in Engineering Entrepreneurship, is serving as a project manager intern for ARCO Design/Build. He spent last summer with K. Hovnanian Homes shadowing the construction manager. Colin is working with O'Donnell & Naccarato as a structural engineering intern.
