The MSF Fellows program is a competitive graduate assistantship program that allows students to pursue their MSF degree with reduced tuition charges while obtaining a realistic view of academic research. The program begins in the fall semester. Many of our past Fellows have pursued their PhD after their experience at VSB.

Fellows are incoming MSF students selected to assist VSB faculty with their research activities during the fall and spring semesters. The Fellows work under the supervision of the finance faculty member to whom they are assigned for 10 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.

Fellows may not be engaged in additional employment or an internship while participating in the program.

Fellowships cannot be combined with any VSB scholarships. Applicants must choose one award or the other.

Tuition Remission and Stipend

The Master of Science in Finance Fellows Program is an assistantship that allows students to pursue their degree on a full-time basis while obtaining paid research experience with faculty members. Fellows receive a 50% tuition discount. In addition to receiving 50% remission of tuition and fees, fellows also receive a living stipend.
