The Villanova Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program provides you with an advanced finance education, incorporating experiential and applied components to increase your value in the job market. Through this program, you can earn a master’s degree in 11 months of study beyond your baccalaureate degree.

    The MSF program is completed in 11 months. You'll earn 30 credits while attending classes full time with a cohort of highly motivated students.

    The MSF curriculum combines a solid foundation in finance with exposure to the areas reshaping finance today. Over the span of three semesters, you will take an intensive course load of financial theory and principles, followed by an opportunity to explore a variety of electives in statistics, analytics, quantitative finance, investment management, real estate, machine learning, coding and more. Students have the opportunity to choose electives that will help them achieve their individual professional goals.

    The program also includes professional development and a focus on leadership, negotiation and communication skills that complement students’ technical knowledge and prepare them for longer-term advancement opportunities.

    Villanova University’s campus is located on a 260-acre campus, 12 miles/19 kilometers west of Philadelphia. Three campus rail stops provide quick access to Philadelphia. Villanova is also conveniently close to New York and Washington, D.C. MSF students take classes in Bartley Hall and have access to the 1,500-square-foot Gmelich Lab for Financial Markets, designed with the latest technology used in finance, real estate, analytics and management information systems.
