Villanova School of Business (VSB) Announces Enhanced 19-month EMBA Experience
Villanova, Pa., February 1, 2017 — VSB is proud to announce exciting enhancements to its Executive MBA (EMBA) program. Beginning in September 2017, The Villanova EMBA will now be offered in just 19 months with classes meeting every three weeks in a new state-of-the-art facility, The Inn at Villanova University.
As a continuation of VSB’s commitment to working professionals, these changes have reduced the overall completion schedule by two months—meeting every three weeks on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for a total of 22 weekends. By contrast, the previous schedule met every other week on Fridays and Saturdays and took 21 months to complete, or 33 weekends.
EMBA students will now stay and take classes at The Inn at Villanova University, a newly renovated space designed to provide a collaborative environment and promote maximum student interaction. The improvements include the modernized classroom technology, updated guestroom bathrooms and private balconies, a fitness center, high speed internet access and fine dining.
“The Villanova EMBA educates business leaders for a better world and these enhancements make our program more attractive to busy, working professionals,” said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, The Helen and William O’Toole Dean of VSB. “The shortened time commitment and modernized facilities make us more competitive in the marketplace while preparing students to make an even greater impact after they earn their degree.”
“Our new 19-month schedule allows students to maintain a work-life balance and provides the facilities today’s students have come to expect in the business world,” noted Michael L. Capella, PhD, Associate Dean, Graduate and Executive Programs. “We are proud to offer this modern EMBA experience to meet the demands of today’s executives.”
