Perseverance and Grit - Congratulations, Kelly Grentz
This year marked Villanova University’s 174th annual Commencement. We are proud of all graduates, including our CPS students who received their degrees on Saturday, May 20 as well as our very own, Kelly Grentz, Director of Communication for CPS, who graduated with her MBA degree.
For six years, Kelly diligently pursued her dream of earning her MBA. During that time, as with many adult students, Kelly’s life changed dramatically—she got engaged, then married, had two children and changed jobs twice, all while working fulltime and taking classes at night.
Kelly is a determined woman who made a goal and stuck with it despite the challenges and hurdles that she encountered along the way. It wasn’t easy, but through it all, Kelly persevered. She is a wonderful example of how adult students can earn their degree while also facing growing demands and responsibilities.
“I am overjoyed to have finished my degree,” said Kelly. “Despite the challenges I faced during the program, and having to balance time between family, work and school, I was able to stay on track and slowly make progress each semester. I can’t say enough good things about the professors and my experience at Villanova. I am proud of my accomplishment and thrilled that my two children were able to see me graduate.”
Kelly, you are an inspiration to us all. Congratulations!
