NovaCell Holds Walk to Promote Cancer Research Awareness

Despite the drizzle, the inaugural NovaCell Walk for Cancer Research Awareness went off without a hitch Thursday, Sept. 22.Participants included Villanova faculty, staff and students. The theme focused on promising new therapies in cancer research and being health conscious.

Following the walk, NovaCell faculty and graduate students presented posters on their current research efforts, focused primarily now on improving CART (Chimeric Antigen Receptor Tcell) cancer treatments, which have shown encouraging clinical results.
