40th Annual Dean’s Awards Dinner Recognizes Graduating Seniors
Ninety-three graduating seniors were recognized at the 2015 Dean’s Award Dinner.
Along with spring showers, April brings a spate of awards and recognition events to Villanova University. One of the highlights in the College of Engineering is the annual Dean’s Awards Dinner, which in 2015, celebrated its 40th year. The evening proudly recognizes senior engineering students for their academic achievements and their meaningful contributions and service to the College.
Before handing out this year’s awards, Drosdick Endowed Dean of Engineering Gary A. Gabriele, PhD, told the students, “You are the promise of the future of the College of Engineering.” He then presented 87 graduating seniors with the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence, which requires students to have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 at the end of the fall term. A list of awardees can be found here.
Those seniors who have been involved in long-term extra-curricular and/or service activities within the College are eligible for the Meritorious Service Award.
