Dr. Traver Receives Watershed Stewardship Award

Dr. Robert Traver, director of the Villanova University Stormwater Partnership (VUSP), received the “Watershed Stewardship Award” from the Chester County Water Resources Authority. The award was in recognition for Dr. Traver’s outstanding efforts toward the stewardship and management of Chester County’s watersheds. Specifically it recognized Dr. Traver’s leadership and accomplishments in advancing stormwater engineering through education, research, and technology transfer. The award was presented at a ceremony on January 16.

VUSP is a joint academic, industry, and government partnership. It fosters the development of Best Management Practices in watershed management, as well as research and directed studies that emphasize comprehensive watershed stormwater management planning, implementation, and evaluation, VUSP also provides guidance and education for professionals.
