John Ballough Sneh, known as Johnny, embarked on a life-altering journey when, in 2000, his mother sent him from Liberia to America to escape the ravages of civil war and the looming threat of becoming a child soldier. At just eight years old, this journey laid the foundation for a remarkable life trajectory. With unwavering support from his adoptive family, the Balloughs, Sneh found himself propelled towards extraordinary success in the technology sector, a journey fueled by gratitude, compassion for Liberia, and an unyielding commitment to driving positive change through technology in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Sneh holds a business degree from La Salle University’s School of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His professional journey began at IBM, where he spent five and a half years pioneering their new technology convergence space globally, empowering organizations to become Digital Disruptors. Later, as the Hybrid Cloud and Cognitive Account Executive covering IBM Public Markets & Healthcare Industry, he championed innovation and data-driven digital transformation across various business units.

Transitioning to Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Enterprise Account Executive, Sneh focused on Digital Cloud Native Business, particularly targeting large size start-ups. Here, he led strategic initiatives, fostering trusted advisor relationships with key executives and driving impactful outcomes.

In the latter half of 2022, Sneh embarked on his entrepreneurial journey as the CEO and Founder of The SNS Company, spearheading the creation of Africa's next-gen, cross-border eCommerce and Fintech Platform. Under his leadership, the company achieved significant milestones, securing $600K USD in pre-seed investment and leading product adoption among 12,000 users worldwide.

Throughout his career, Sneh has been a catalyst for transformative success in tech startups, leveraging his expertise in business development strategy and operations management. His impressive track record includes the creation and launch of innovative products, successful funding rounds, and rapid user adoption resulting in over $1M in sales.
