MOORAD SYMPOSIUM
Each spring, the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal hosts its annual symposium on current issues and hot topics in the world of sports law. Past symposia have covered issues ranging from concussions in sports, to agents and the media.
Join us on Friday, April 5 for the 2024 Moorad Symposium, "Fast Forward: The Changing Landscape of Sports Media" for informative and entertaining discussions on recent disruptions in sports media distribution, programming and revenue generation.
SPEAKER SERIES
The Moorad Center hosts a speaker series on the business of sports each academic year. These interactive sessions provide a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the sports industry, as the speakers share their knowledge, professional experiences and career advice.
GAME DAY CASE COMPETITION
Hosted in collaboration with the UCLA Anderson School of Management, the Annual Game Day Case Competition is the only sports case competition of its kind in the nation. It brings together JD and MBA students to present and negotiate solutions to cutting edge topics in sports law and business.
Held at Villanova Law every other year, teams from across the country take a multidisciplinary approach to analyzing, presenting and negotiating solutions to real-world legal and business problems.
