Real Estate Students

The DiLella Center for Real Estate is changing the face of business education at Villanova. Both an undergraduate major and minor and graduate MBA concentration in real estate are now available to students.

As a Real Estate major, co-major or minor at VSB, you will develop an understanding of real estate investment, development, modeling, capital markets, accounting and law, as well as the role of real estate in corporate strategy and the global economy. The curriculum incorporates site visits, case studies, expert perspectives and industry-standard software tools so that you learn how the theory ties to practice.


Students are required to take 15 credits of electives by taking 1.5 credit or 3 credit courses. Of these 15 credits, a minimum of 7.5 elective credits earn a specialization.

Required Classes (3 credits each)

MBA 8800 - Commercial Real Estate Invest.

MBA 8827 - Sustainable Real Estate Development
MBA 8830 - Sustainable RE Dev. I and II

Plus one or more of the following (1.5 credits each):

MBA 8823 - RE Securities & Capital Mkts

MBA 8824 - Strateg. Real Estate Decisions

MBA 8829 - Contemp. Topics in Real Estate
