SYSTEMS THINKING

Classroom of EMBA students.

AT THE FOUNDATION OF THE EXECUTIVE MBA CURRICULUM IS THE CONCEPT OF SYSTEMS THINKING.

Systems thinking equips leaders with an interdisciplinary, strategic approach to problem solving, encouraging leaders to think beyond functional silos and understand how management decisions affect an organization as a whole. A systems approach challenges leaders to think about the totality of the organization and its myriad internal interdependencies, as well as the dynamic external environment in which the organization operates. Systems thinking challenges leaders to question basic assumptions about their business and their industry and, by doing so, leaders are able to think differently about how to drive transformational change.
