Supporting Your Success

While completing their coursework, graduate students enhance their professional development skills, expand their professional network and develop a strategy for leveraging their master’s degree for career growth and mobility.

In the MAC program, professional development programming focuses on enriching the classroom experience and preparing students for a career in accounting. Professional development programs and events include:

  • Internship information sessions
  • Lunch and Learns with the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants
  • Resume critiques
  • Software workshops

Graduate Mentoring Program

Students are encouraged to participate in a one-year mentoring program with alumni and corporate partners. This program is facilitated by the mentoring platform Chronus, which provides mentoring recommendations based on career interests and backgrounds with MatchIQ technology. During this program, students will engage in events that facilitate relationship building with their alumni mentor.

Personalized Resources

As MAC students have unique motivations for earning their advanced degree, they also have access to dedicated career services staff who can help them navigate and benefit from a variety of resources based on their individual professional goals.

Fellowship Opportunities

The Master of Accounting with Data Analytics Fellows Program is an assistantship that allows students to pursue their degree on a full-time basis while obtaining paid research experience with faculty members. Fellows gain valuable hands-on experience working with our world-class faculty as they engage in innovative research with real-world applications.
