Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Thanksgiving is an annual opportunity to celebrate our many blessings and to focus on those we are most grateful for in our lives. Year after year, I am in awe of how you use your gifts and talents to help us successfully live out our Augustinian Catholic mission, doing so with creativity, enthusiasm and grace.

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I am pleased to offer the following with enormous gratitude for all you do on behalf of Villanova:

• The University will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 24, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
• Christmas break has been extended to include Monday, Jan. 3, and Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022.
• Summer Fridays: From Monday, May 9 through Friday, Aug. 12, Villanova University will have a four-day workweek, with Fridays off.

Please note: All essential staff will still need to report as directed by their supervisor. Additionally, if your area or department requires an on-campus presence on Summer Fridays, the individuals who work Friday should be given another day off that week.

Thank you again for your many contributions to Villanova. I hope that your time off provides an opportunity to reenergize before the end of the semester and enjoy the company of family and friends.
