Dr. Betti Bruderle receives Lindback award for teaching excellence
Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Betti Bruderle was recgonized at today's Commencement with the Lindback Award for teaching excellence.
From the ceremony:
As St. Augustine says, “The love of knowledge and truth should invite us to continue learning. The love of others should compel us to teach.” At Villanova, our primary mission is teaching, and each year – through the generosity of the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation – we honor a faculty member who exemplifies excellence in undergraduate teaching. This year’s Lindback award winner is Dr. Elizabeth Bruderle, Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing.
Dr. Bruderle started teaching at Villanova in 1990. She enjoys using innovative strategies to enhance student learning, including peer mentoring and simulated patient care scenarios. Dr. Bruderle’s students have consistently praised her effectiveness as a teacher and mentor, and deeply appreciate her personal commitment to their success in the nursing profession.
