DNP student wins national grant
Catherine Sharbaugh, MN, CRNP, a member of the 2nd cohort of students in the College of Nursing’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, has been selected to receive a $1000 grant from Alpha Tau Delta, a national fraternity for professional nurses based in California. Sharbaugh is a family nurse practitioner director of health services at Haverford College in Haverford, Pa. For her scholarly DNP project, she will be investigating the behavioral effect on influenza vaccine acceptance with mobile health text messaging to increase compliance of college students.
