Accessible Hyperlinks and Email Links

Links help users accomplish a task and should have a clear call to action that make sense out of context if read by itself.

When creating a link to another page, hyperlink should be attached to the keyword that best describes the destination of that link. "Click Here" and "Read More" are not descriptive enough for a visitor using a screen reader.

Examples:
Incorrect Use: For more information on Villanova Athletics programs, click here.
Correct Use: For more information see Villanova Athletics.

Incorrect Use: Contact jane.doe@villanova.edu for more information.
Correct Use: Email Jane Doe for more information.

Please review our Accessibility at Villanova page for the necessary contact information should you have issues accessing website content.
