Create Accessible Forms

Forms provide an important means for seeking more information or registering for an event. Some items to keep in mind with forms:

• Clearly title the form so that the user knows what they are filling out.
• Logically order your fields so that they make sense when tabbed through with a keyboard or by assistive technologies.
• Offer clear suggestions and error prevention measures.

Note: If not clear in the form title, it may be helpful to provide a brief sentence (similar to the Table caption) that explains the form and what to expect when filling it out.
