The Eleanor H. McCullen Center for Law, Religion and Public Policy welcomes Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice P. Kevin Brobson

Justice Brobson will discuss the role of state courts in congressional redistricting and other aspects of the political process following his article, "Of Free and Equal Elections and Fair Districts How the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Slayed (or Hobbled?) the Partisan Gerrymander" published in the Widener Commonwealth Law Review (2020).

This event is part of the McCullen Center's series of visits by jurists to Villanova on matters related to the United States Constitution as part of the Center's Constitutional Studies Initiative. Previous programs featured then-Judge Amy Coney Barrett, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, on "Constitutional Originalism and Continuity" and Judge Thomas Hardiman, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, on "The Art and Science of Judging in a Constitutional Republic."

This lecture is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1 Substantive In-Person CLE credit. Please note registration is required.
