Student Opportunities
Villanova Dining Services offers part-time, on-campus opportunities for students. We employ many students each semester in a variety of positions. With opportunities seven days a week, hours throughout the day, and 19 locations across campus, we'll work with you around your schedule to make you a part of our team.

Hospitality Associate
As a Hospitality Associate, you may work in both front-of-house (food production, serving, cashiering, barista) and back-of-house (food preparation and support) roles. You may not refuse to participate in any requested roles without medical exemption.
Typical duties include:
- Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down service lines.
- Preparing/cooking food for cold production, pizza, and grill lines.
- Stocking, rotating, and replenishing merchandise as needed.
- Working in a variety of stations, such as:
- Sandwich, salad, pizza, and Holy Grounds areas
- Register stations and convenience stores
- Assisting with back-of-house production (salad/fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, commissary items).
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dining room tables, and chairs.
- Performing additional duties as directed by supervisors or managers.
Barista (Holy Grounds)
Baristas work alongside full-time staff at Holy Grounds café locations.
Typical duties include:
- Preparing specialty drinks and serving snacks.
- Operating the cash register/Grub Hub system
- Cleaning equipment and maintaining counters.
- Keeping inventory stocked (cups, lids, straws, ingredients, food, and drinks).
- Clearing and cleaning tables (if applicable).
Catering (Wait Staff)
Catering employees work alongside our full-time catering crew to help in on campus events, providing food and hospitality to all guests at events. Schedule will be sent out weekly based off of scheduled events. Nights and weekends are required, with no guaranteed hours per week (max of 20 hours per week).
Typical duties include:
- Preparing specialty drinks and serving food and/or snacks.
- Operating cash registers.
- Cleaning equipment and tables.
- Serving food to guests.
- Provide customer service at all times.
- Ensure all guest needs are met
- Completed all tasks delegated by catering staff management
