GLOBAL PRACTICUM OPPORTUNITIES

For your final capstone experience in the Villanova Professional MBA program, you will participate in a Global Business Practicum to examine the geographic, economic, political, social, cultural and competitive factors that shape strategic decision-making in a global marketplace. You will partner with a multinational corporation and assist in exploring possible solutions to a market issue it is currently facing while receiving a better understanding of international business during our global consulting practicum session.

At the start of the Master of Business Administration course, a member of the company’s senior management team presents an international practicum challenge. During the 14 weeks that follow, you will conduct research and visit an international site to increase your understanding of the local market environment. Throughout this experience, dedicated internal consultants comprised of alumni and local professionals provide additional advice and guidance as you formulate your recommendations. You will expand your education, perspectives, and experience by participating in our global business practicum.

Some of the locations for prior Global Practicums include:

  • India
  • Budapest/Prague
  • Argentina/Chile
  • South Africa
  • Hong Kong/Vietnam
  • Spain/Morocco
  • Israel

Elective International Immersions

In addition to traditional electives, the Villanova MBA program may offer international immersion electives to provide students additional opportunities to expand their global mindset. Held over the winter break or in the summer semester, these electives take an in-depth look at a country’s business and cultural environment, and include a two-week immersion experience.
