Dr. Moeness Amin Shares Personal Insight into Egyptian Revolution

When Egyptian citizens took to the streets to demand a change in government in late January, sparking a peaceful revolution that holds broad implications for the Middle East, members of the local news media came to Villanova seeking insight into the uprising.

Dr. Moeness Amin, Director of the Center for Advanced Communications, grew up in Egypt and generously shared his perspective on this historic event with The Delaware County Daily Times, Main Line Media, and The Catholic Standard and Times. Dr. Amin also spoke with Villanova’s Multicultural Students League to share personal stories and knowledge about Egypt, its people, and its history.
