GRADUATE PROGRAMS IN MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS

Build your future with graduate study in Mathematics or Applied Statistics and Data Science at Villanova University! Our programs are designed to both provide students with the technical background they will need to excel in their careers and instill a love and appreciation of logical thought and elegant reasoning.

Students who earn their Master of Arts in Mathematics advance their careers in actuarial and accounting firms, finance, banking and teaching, as well as in other fields. The Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Data Science prepares students to work with data in any industry, including the pharmaceutical industry, as well as governmental and educational institutions.

Both programs also serve as a springboard for students who want to pursue doctoral degrees.

We also offer Graduate Certificates in Applied Statistics and Data Science, Teaching of Secondary-School Mathematics, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Mathematics.

In addition, the department offers two Combined Bachelor/Master Programs for current Villanova undergraduate students who wish to begin their graduate work and complete their master's degree sooner: a BS/MA in Mathematics and a BS/MS in Applied Statistics and Data Science.
