Biography

Emma Kearney serves as the access services librarian at Villanova Law, training and supervising circulation student workers. She also teaches legal research of legal research, analysis, and writing and communication.

Kearney graduated from Indiana University, earning both her JD and master of library science, in December 2021. She spent her summers in law school interning at public defender's offices, including the appellate office of the Georgia Public Defender Council, the Public Defender of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, and the office of the federal public defender for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Kearney previously earned her BA in English literature and art history from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia.
