Emma Kearney

Access Services Librarian and Legal Research Instructor

 

Biography

Ms. Kearney serves as the Access Services Librarian, training and supervising circulation student workers. She also teaches legal research of Legal Research, Analysis, Writing & Communication.

She recently graduated from Indiana University, earning both her JD and Master of Library Science, in December 2021. She spent her summers in law school interning at public defender's offices, including the Appellate Office of the Georgia Public Defender Council, the Public Defender of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, and the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She will be sworn in as an attorney in Georgia this summer. 

Ms. Kearney previously earned her BA in English Literature and Art History from Agnes Scott College, in Decatur, Georgia.
