THE SUITE

Students learn in a breakout room in the SUITE

The SUITE (Space for Underrepresented Identities Together for Empowerment) is a space that invites students from historically excluded and underserved identities, and their allies of all identities, to gather for collaboration and community building. Villanova’s Mission calls us to foster “a diverse community of scholars” where our commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion informs our actions every day. The SUITE is a space to support, affirm and celebrate the diversity of cultures and identities that enrich Villanova’s campus community.

The SUITE, which opened Spring 2024, is home to the Office of Belonging and Inclusion (OBI), formerly the Office of Intercultural Affairs (OIA), which strives to create opportunities for inter- and intragroup engagement and understanding, while advocating for equity and inclusion for historically marginalized groups.  OBI leads programming, trainings, and initiatives that foster a community of respect, inclusion and belonging for all Villanovans.
