    What began as a standard research paper for Frank Schlupp '25 CPS quickly broadened into a scholarly endeavor encompassing months of research, hours of discourse with Villanova professors and classmates, and numerous visits to the Philadelphia City Archives and Historical Society of Pennsylvania to explore the origins of Chinatown in Philadelphia.

  • Villanova University Offers New Textbook Access Program to Save Students on Class Materials

    Villanova University and the College of Professional Studies (CPS) seek to offer adult students a chance to earn their degrees at an elite university at a reasonable cost. However, the cost of textbooks and course materials has sometimes made that more difficult. Moving forward, credit students in the College of Professional Studies will be able to leverage a new textbook access program designed to make textbooks and other course materials more affordable.
