VIRTUAL INFORMATION SESSIONS

Join us to learn more about Villanova Law! A member of the Admissions team will discuss the admissions process, as well as opportunities and programs. Following the presentation, there will be time for Q&A with an admissions representative.

Designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of the vibrant culture and community that defines Villanova Law, this virtual series aims to help you make an informed decision about your legal education by connecting you with key voices in our community. Sessions will include perspectives from current students, faculty, staff and esteemed alumni, and will provide an understanding of Villanova Law's culture, values and commitment to excellence. Diverse Voices in Law: Paving the Way for You

Attendees heard from accomplished alumni of color who are currently making their mark in the field of law and justice to gain valuable perspectives on career paths, their experience as a law student and the enduring impact of a Villanova Law education. Through interactive discussions and a Q&A session, participants engaged with our esteemed panelists, asked questions and gained valuable guidance on your path to law school. 

Villanova Law's In-House Clinics: A Commitment to Public Interest Law

Wednesday, January 31

This session will provided insight into the profound purpose of each of our legal clinics, their role in advancing public interest law and how they align with Villanova Law's dedication to community service. The clinic directors, individuals deeply passionate about the intersection of law and public service, shared their experiences and the impact their work has on the community. Attendees learned how these hands-on opportunities can enhance your legal education and prepare you for a successful career.

Business Law Concentration

Tuesday, February 6

The Business Law Concentration is designed to ensure that enrolled students have a strong foundation in the fundamentals of business law and the skills necessary for a career in the field. Richard Booth, professor of law and Martin G. McGuinn Chair in Business Law, and Jennifer O'Hare, professor of law, provided more details about the concentration and how it can broaden your expertise. 

Sports Law Concentration

Wednesday, February 21

The Sports Law Concentration provides students with a unique value-add towards potential amateur and professional sports careers. It complements existing programs through the Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law, including rigorous academic study, the highest level of speakers and symposia, innovative Fellowship and internship opportunities, scholarship and research. Andrew Brandt, executive director of the Moorad Center and professor of practice, will provide more details and answer questions about the concentration and how it can broaden your expertise. 

Intellectual Property Law Concentration

Wednesday, February 28

The Intellectual Property Law Concentration allows students to show the breadth and depth of their IP experience. The concentration includes course requirements in core areas, including patent and copyright, and additional coursework in other areas, such as trademark or trade secret. It offers the freedom to take related classes such as sports law, entertainment law, and internet law. Brett Frischmann, the Charles Widger Endowed University Professor in Law, Business and Economics, and Michael Risch, vice dean and professor of law, will provide more details and answer questions about the concentration and how it can broaden your expertise.
