Welcome Class of 2024
Hailing from 28 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law Class of 2024 was welcomed into the Villanova community this week. This class is an impressive group of students who come from diverse backgrounds, all with one common trait—outstanding academic credentials.
The 222 incoming students from Class of 2024 began their Villanova experience on August 18, 2021 with three days of orientation activities, culminating in a community picnic with faculty, staff and current students. In a welcome address from Mark C. Alexander, The Arthur J. Kania Dean, students were urged to be leaders in the law and the world.
“The past year has seen an incredible amount of challenges, upheaval and change,” remarked Dean Alexander. “It has changed our lives in many ways, and maybe these are the reasons some of you have decided to come to law school. You as lawyers will be part of change in our society. You will be rule shapers, makers and enforcers. You will be called to lead.”
Villanova Law excitedly welcomes these new students, commends them for their accomplishments and looks forward to their contributions to our community over the next three years and beyond.
