The David F. and Constance B. Girard-diCarlo Center for Ethics, Integrity and Compliance will host the Lewis H. Gold ’62 Lecture on Ethics and Professional Responsibility on Wednesday, February 26th. Erika Harold, executive director of Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism will present "Preventing Bullying in the Legal Profession: An Ethical Case for Courage and Change."
This lecture honors the memory of Lewis H. Gold ’62, an exceptional advocate with a strong sense of ethics. The naming was made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor in collaboration with his family.
The Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board has approved this event for 1 ethics CLE credit. Please note registration prior to the event is required.
Erika N. L. Harold is the executive director of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism. An advocate for civility, ethics and inclusion, Harold leads the Commission’s extensive educational programming focused on advancing professionalism among the state’s lawyers and judges to build confidence in the justice system. She previously served on the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Equality, is a member of the teaching faculty for Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop and a recipient of the Chicago Bar Association’s Earl B. Dickerson Award for minority lawyers and judges.
