Villanova Law Welcomes Four Visiting Assistant Professors and New Clinical Fellow

Lev Breydo, Visiting Assistant Professor, served as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Corporate Restructuring last semester at Villanova. He previously worked at Reorg Research, Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Lev holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  

Zviko Chadambuka, Visiting Assistant Professor and Fellow in Law, Business and Economics, joins Villanova from Yale Law School where he is a Non-resident Research Fellow in Law at the Center for Private Law. He has written on the right to trial and human rights and served as a barrister in Zimbabwe. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Illinois College of Law, a Master of Science in finance from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London and is a candidate for a doctor of philosophy degree at the University of Turin, Italy. 

Luke Repici, Visiting Assistant Professor (Legal Writing), was a partner at White and Williams LLP for 19 years where he litigated complex commercial and personal injury matters in state and federal courts nationwide. He also litigated premises liability, bad faith and extra-contractual damages claims, and life, health and disability insurance matters. While at White and Williams, he headed the firm’s Associates’ Litigation Training Program, co-chaired the Associate Development Committee, and helped to establish a formal mentoring program. He received his JD from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

Abel Rodríguez, Visiting Assistant Professor and Director of the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES), is on leave from Cabrini University where he is the inaugural Director of the Center on Immigration, which promotes immigrant rights through education, advocacy and scholarship. He is also an Associate Professor of Religion, Law and Social Justice at Cabrini. Prior to Cabrini, he held positions with the Defender Association of Philadelphia and the Nationalities Service Center. Rodríguez earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania, his Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University and a MA in Latin American Studies from Stanford. 

Catherine Kapples, Clinical Fellow, joins the faculty straight from graduating from the Charles Widger School of Law with her JD in May 2021. At Villanova, she was a Walter A. Lucas Public Interest Fellow and worked in the Clinic for Asylum Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES) and the Clinic for Interdisciplinary Mental and Physical Health, two of Villanova’s six in-house legal clinics, over three semesters and during summer and winter breaks. She previously worked in the Appeals Unit of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts and in Caritas Legal Services of Catholic Charities of San Antonio.
