A LETTER FROM FATHER PETER
Dear Friends,
Spring is typically a season to appreciate the beauty of the world around us, to find hope in the celebration of Easter and in nature’s reawakening after a long winter. Our hope can be tested by global conflicts as well as struggles close to home, but we must always seek to recognize the good in our world.
At Villanova, we can find inspiration everywhere. See the work happening in our labs and classrooms, where faculty and students come together to make discoveries and deepen understanding. Experience students’ passion as they follow their curiosity to explore what will become their life’s work. Watch our student-athletes earn national acclaim for their feats in competition—and for excellence in their studies. Appreciate the powerful bonds that are formed as we share special moments together as a community.
As I look around our Villanova community, both here on campus and extending around the world, I feel certain that, by committing to our shared values of Veritas, Unitas, Caritas, we can ignite remarkable change for the common good. Let us be united in prayer and in action to carry out these principles on our campus and beyond.
With gratitude and blessings for all,
The Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, ’75 CLAS
President
