Request a Recording
UNIT's Multimedia Technologies provides event, classroom, and other recording services on campus.
Recording requests can be for a single event or class or for an entire semester of classes. Semester-long class recordings can only be done in lecture capture capable classrooms. You can get more information about these classrooms and view a list of lecture capture capable classrooms here.
Recordings are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. Requests should be made as far in advance as possible.
Staff is scheduled based on recording needs, although we will try to accommodate all requests, we may not be able to accommodate requests placed less than two business days prior to the event.
We are currently piloting a new recording request form. To help with this pilot please use the button below to request a recording.
Alternately to request a recording using the old method via the helpdesk system please do the following:
- Visit http://support.villanova.edu
- Click on "Complete a Web Form"
- Choose "New Request" under Audio Video Recording Request or Medaisite Recording Request. A questioner will pop up asking for the details of your request.
- Complete the questionnaire.
- Submit the questionnaire.
You will receive an email confirmation of your form submission. This is NOT a confirmation that we are able to fulfill your request, it is only a confirmation that your request has been received. A member of Multimedia Technologies will follow up with a confirmation as soon as your request has been staffed.
