PROMPT:
How will your participation in the Master of Science in Church Management program contribute to your ability to carry out your ministry in your Church?

Professional recommendations from two individuals familiar with the applicant's professional and/or academic accomplishments. Applicants pursuing a scholarship should have a ministry lead, supervisor, or pastor write at least one of the recommendations. Each recommender is asked to complete the form and submit a letter that discusses the four points below. If you ask a recommender to compose a letter prior to their officially receiving instructions, remind them to include the below topics as a guideline:

  1. Length of time he/she has known the applicant
  2. Basis of the professional relationship
  3. Applicant's strengths
  4. Applicant's areas for improvement

*When you enter your recommenders' information into the application form, they will be sent an email invitation on your behalf instructing them how to submit their recommendation. Recommenders are able to submit their recommendation regardless of your application submission status.

The MSCM program is not an in-person program, so it does not require a student visa.

Please be aware, due to U.S. Department of Homeland Security requirements, only full, degree-bearing, in-person academic programs will support international students seeking to obtain a student visa, and this program does not meet those requirements.

Students interested in this program are welcome to pursue the curriculum from their home location. However, the MSCM program has a 1-week mandatory residency in-person on Villanova's main campus. International students who have been accepted to the program will need to obtain a tourist visa to attend this week during the first week of June.

Credentials Evaluation
International applicants must have any non-U.S. transcripts independently evaluated to show an equivalence to 120 U.S. credit hours. One official transcript evaluation from each post-secondary educational institution for which nine credit hours or more of course work was taken is required. All transcripts (academic records) must be official documents. They must represent a course-by-course evaluation from either WES or ECE. Credentials evaluations are mandatory and are not waived. Please send your evaluations directly to the Graduate Business School via email  GRADBUSINESSINFO@VILLANOVA.EDU

For World Education Services (WES), please select Graduate and Professional Admissions, followed by the Villanova School of Business option.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Applicants whose native language is not English and who graduated from a non-U.S. institution in a country where English is not the official language, are required to provide a score for the TOEFL. The Villanova School of Business TOEFL code is 2959. Scores must be sent directly to the Graduate Business Programs. Applicants who have graduated from an accredited United States institution are not required to submit a TOEFL. Applicants who work in the United States must submit their resume to the Graduate Business Office requesting to see if a TOEFL is required.

A non-refundable application fee of $65.00 must be paid by credit card. You will receive a receipt upon final submission.

After your application is submitted and all elements have been received and reviewed, the applicant will be contacted to set up two 30-minute phone interviews.
