ADMISSIONS

Villanova’s MSCM program begins in May each year. Admission to the MSCM program is based on experience, letters of recommendation, and a personal essay. Standardized test scores are not required. All applicants must have an undergraduate degree in order to be considered; international applicants must have their undergraduate transcripts independently evaluated.  

Please note: The Admissions Committee will not review your application until all required materials have been received. Additionally, scholarship applications cannot be considered until the applicant is accepted into the program.

Scholarship Application Deadlines

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, MSCM scholarship applications are due by the Round 2 deadline, listed above.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Current Resume submitted through the online application process at the above link. Please submit a one-page professional resume.

Transcripts from each institution of higher learning you attended must be sent in a sealed envelope directly from the institution to the Graduate Business Programs Office. Transcripts from Academic Institutions outside the United States will need a credential evaluation from a service such as World Education Services.

Professional recommendations from two individuals familiar with your professional and/or academic accomplishments. You will input the name and contact information of your two recommenders in the online application process at the above link. Recommenders will be given instructions on submitting the electronic recommendation form. Each recommender is asked to submit a recommendation that discusses:

1. Length of time he/she has known the applicant
2. Basis of professional relationship
3. Applicant's strengths
4. Applicant's areas for improvement

Personal Essay responding to the question, "How will your participation in the MSCM program contribute to your ability to carry out your ministry in the church?” Your essay response should be typed, double spaced, and be no more than two pages in length. Applicants will be prompted to upload their essays to the online application at the above link.

All applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of $65. The fee is to be paid by credit card on the online application site when you submit.

After your application is submitted and all elements have been received and reviewed, the applicant will be contacted to set up a 30-minute phone interview.

TOEFL Exam (International applicants only)
International applicants must submit a TOEFL score and a transcript evaluation. Please send scores to school code 2952.

 

 

TUITION

Tuition for the MSCM Program is $29,400 (30 credits at $980 per credit). However, students who work for the church will receive a 25% scholarship from Villanova, for a tuition price of $22,050. Additionally, many dioceses have special partnerships for additional scholarship opportunities.
