VSB Leadership Update
VSB is pleased to announce that Jonathan Doh, PhD, will serve as senior associate dean for Research, Faculty Advancement, and Global Engagement and Julie Pirsch, PhD, will serve as the senior associate dean for Teaching and Programs.

About Jonathan Doh, PhD
Dr. Doh joined VSB in 2001 and most recently served as associate dean for Research and Global Engagement since 2017. In 2007, he was named the Herbert G. Rammrath Endowed Chair in International Business. As the senior associate dean for Research, Faculty Advancement, and Global Engagement, he will have responsibility for faculty processes and policies related to qualifications and reporting for accreditation, tenure and promotions for faculty as well as research grants and funding. He will continue to oversee VSB’s Centers of Excellence; the research, service, and international business-related committees and programs; and will serve as a liaison or representative to the University on faculty, research, and global policies and practices, including as a representative for the implementation of the University Strategic Plan.

About Julie Pirsch, PhD
Dr. Pirsch joined VSB in 2002 and, since 2017, has served as associate dean of Teaching and Learning. Throughout her time at Villanova, she has been recognized for her teaching excellence. As senior associate dean for Teaching and Programs, she will lead and partner with the associate deans of VSB’s Graduate and Undergraduate programs overseeing curriculum, experiential learning initiatives, and operations for VSB’s undergraduate and graduate portfolio. She will continue to work closely with the assistant dean of Accreditation and Strategic Initiatives on the Assurance of Learning compliance for AACSB accreditation and will represent the college on university initiatives and committees relevant to her role. She will have responsibility for faculty teaching awards and enhancements and will also oversee the implementation of VSB’s Strategic Plan as it relates to competencies and program portfolio.
