A Unique Team Approach to Teaching Fundraising
Principles of Fundraising is a non-credit course in the College of Professional Studies taught unlike any other program we offer—through a team approach. Four faculty members teach the course, all of whom have significant experience in the fundraising and development field. Instructor Stephanie Cory, CAP, CFRE, a Philanthropy and Governance Consultant explains, “This is an opportunity for students to hear four unique perspectives on fundraising and enables us as faculty to teach in the areas in which we have the greatest expertise."

For more than 15 years, Eden S. Braun, SPHR, SHRM-CP worked in the financial services industry at some of the area’s leading venture capital firms and hedge funds. Primarily working in operations, she also had human resource responsibilities that grew into a large portion of the role. Realizing she had a passion for her human resources, she decided to pursue a career with HR as her primary focus.

Ron Tedesco has a successful career as the Director of IT for a national health benefits plan. He’s also a part-time student in the College of Professional Studies bachelor’s in Information Systems degree program. But Ron doesn’t stop there—he also has what some would call a “dream job” with the National Football League that takes him to the sidelines of Lincoln Financial Field for every Philadelphia Eagles home game.
