Biography

Bo Connell joined the Villanova Law in 2019 as the associate dean for finance, administration and strategy after seven years as the assistant dean for hospital operations and hospital executive director for the Texas A&M University and the University of Pennsylvania veterinary medical teaching hospitals. Prior to his work in academic veterinary medicine, he served as the director of strategic initiatives for the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he led the planning, development and start-up of SCAD Hong Kong, the first full-service U.S. degree-granting institution to open in Hong Kong. He brings to his role as associate dean more than fourteen years of additional experience leading healthcare operations, finance, strategic planning and business development initiatives for teaching hospitals and academic medical centers throughout the southeastern United States.
