For the Greater Great: The Villanova Campaign to Ignite Change — the University’s most ambitious fundraising initiative to date — ended May 31, having far exceeded its initial goal of $600 million and setting records for philanthropy at Villanova. Thanks to the profound generosity of alumni, parents and friends, the University has begun a new chapter, its pages thrilling with unprecedented academic heights, ever-expanding opportunities for students, a transformed living and learning environment, and an endowment that grew by more than 100 percent. Here are a few of the milestones of this monumental campaign.

Total amount raised, surpassing goal by more than $150 million

made a gift during the campaign, with more than half giving for the first time

by undergraduate alumni in FY18 — which nearly doubled over 10 years, putting Villanova in top 25 nationally
