As of Jan. 1, Villanova’s Board of Trustees has new leadership. Elizabeth T. Mazzeo ’81 VSB, a special adviser and the former Chief Administrative Officer of Bloomberg LP, has been elected as the new chairperson of Villanova’s Board of Trustees, effective Jan. 1, 2023. Thomas M. Quindlen ’84 VSB, retired Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Diversified Value and Lifestyle Group, at Synchrony Financial (formerly GE Capital Retail Finance), was elected as vice chair of the Board.

“The University has ambitious goals for the future, and Beth and Tom are distinguished alumni who, along with our other dedicated trustees, will lead us forward with their talents and expertise,” says the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, ’75 CLAS.

Mazzeo has been a member of the Board since 2013, while Quindlen has served since 2015. They are both former members of the VSB Dean’s Advisory Council.

The Rev. Francis J. Doyle, OSA, ’67 CLAS, prior of Bellesini Friary, will serve a second term as Board secretary.
