CHANGE-MAKER

Our student-athletes are personally invested in equality and social justice. They know what changes they want to see. I try to help them succeed.

Malcolm Grace, JD

When they encounter Malcolm Grace, JD, Villanova student-athletes find a mentor, an adviser, an advocate and an ally.

As an assistant athletic director for Compliance, director of the Athletic Department’s UNITAS initiative for diversity, equity and inclusion, and staff adviser to The 13%, an organization of Black student-athletes, Grace has a unique lens on their experiences.

In these roles, he is also a leader in the University’s efforts to create a more diverse, anti-racist and inclusive environment in Athletics and across campus, to ensure that all feel at home at Villanova.
