Get ready for the new voicemail system for Villanova employees. The new voicemail system will have several new and exciting features: email notifications, web access to voicemails, and a mobile application. To prepare for the change, you need to set up your new mailbox by simply recording your name and a personal greeting. The changeover to the new system will occur on Sunday April 14th , ready for business on Monday April 15th. For more information, click HERE.
The Workday implementation will impact all staff, faculty and student workers. As July 1st gets closer, training resources will be shared so you can get better understand how to work within the new Workday system. These resources will help answer questions such as:
In an effort to continuously improve services, UNIT began surveying clients who have entered Services Requests/Tickets into the HelpDesk or Support@villanova.edu. The survey is sent via email when any Ticket or Request is closed including a link to quick asking about statisfaction levels. The survey is completely voluntary and is designed to allow each recipient the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience with UNIT.
UNIT is happy to announce the addition of Garey Hall 1st Floor Student Lounge as the newest Student vPrint location.
vPrint is an easily accessible public printing system designed to ensure that students have adequate access to printing resources in order to accomplish academic work. Some features include: Mobile access from anywhere on campus, ability to print from any vPrint station, 24/7 Access to multiple vPrint locations and more. The staff deployment for the 2019 PC refresh will be executed building-by-building beginning March 18, 2019.
What is the Building Schedule? The building schedule for the staff phase of the 2019 PC Refresh project is located HERE.
How long will the migration take? 1 to 2 hours depending on the amount of data to be transferred and post-migration quality assurance checks.
What can I do beforehand? Ensure a clutter-free desk, so that PC installers can efficiently connect “old PC to new PC” migration tools, and access network and power cables. The migration team cannot move or re-locate desks and furniture to access power/network/PC cables during the migration process.
You should have already obtained installation media of your custom 3rd-party software. It is the responsibility of your department’s IT coordinator to reinstall this software.

The IT Security Awareness Training Program raises awareness of information security, and highlights the significant role that each member of our community plays in protecting the University’s information. This program is mandatory for all full-time and part-time faculty and staff and must be completed by Friday, April 12, 2019. Training consists of 12, three-minute videos, each followed by a one-question quiz. The following provides instructions for accessing and completing the Information Security Awareness courses:
