Workday Launch

Villanova University has selected Workday to replace the Finance, HR, and Payroll modules in Banner.  Workday is a cloud-based application with significant end-user improvements including faster approvals, an easy-to-use interface, and improved reporting.  More information about Workday’s benefits will be shared in the coming months.

The project officially kicked off on September 12th and will involve 50+ Human Resources, Financial Affairs, Provost Office and UNIT resources over the next 10+ months.  During this time, project team members will participate in implementation activities while caring for their regular position duties. Please note that a significant amount of time will be dedicated to implementing Workday, and response and process times may increase in support areas.  Please plan accordingly. The project team asks for your patience and understanding with your day-to-day requests involving these resources.
