Using VDesktop to remote in: You will need the ip address of the work computer you want to remote in to on campus.
From your home computer (PC):
- Open a browser and go to vdesktop.villanova.edu
- Log in to vDesktop using your LDAP credentials
- You will be prompted for a Duo Push, verify Duo Push
- Select vDesktop session and open
- Once in vDesktop windows session, go to Start menu and select “Remote Desktop Connection”
- Enter your work computer’s IP Address
- Log into to work with your LDAP credentials
From your home computer (MAC):
- Install or update to the latest version of Citrix Receiver (https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/mac/)
- Open a browser and go to vdesktop.villanova.edu
- Log in to vDesktop using your LDAP credentials
- You will be prompted for a Duo Push, verify Duo Push
- Select vDesktop session and open
- Citrix Receiver will launch, open the session to access Vdesktop
- Once in vDesktop windows session, go to start menu and select “Remote Desktop Connection”
- Enter your work computer’s IP Address
- Log into to work computer with your LDAP credentials
