About Us

There are six dimensions of health: social, physical, intellectual, cultural, emotional, and spiritual.

The SPICES Approach

Health and well-being is a fluid and dynamic journey, not a desination. The Office of Health Promotion promotes health and well-being by following the SPICES approach.  SPICES is an acronym for the six dimensions of health and well-being: Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Cultural, Emotional, and Social components.
