RISE Program

The R.I.S.E. Program is a brand new initiative through the Office of Student Involvement (OSI) that is designed to provide you as student leaders necessary moments of pause to reflect on your student organization mission as well as develop student organization leadership and management skills. This program will build relationships among leaders as well as staff in OSI!

Student Organization Expectations

  • One student leader from each student organization to attend the 2 required sessions per semester / 4 per academic year.
  • One student leader from each student organization to attend 2 elective sessions during the academic year.​
  • Students cannot represent multiple student organizations.

Move from voter registration to voter engagement. As Villanovans, our mission calls us to "nurture a concern for the common good and who share an enthusiasm for the challenge of responsible and productive citizenship in order to build a just and peaceful world." students will be able to understand this idea of the common good and how we are called to be civically engaged as voters and as Villanovans. 
 

 

Ignite Your Strengths

Required Session on
Thursday, April 15 at 6:00pm via Zoom

Students will need time complete the CliftonStrengths assessment. Registration for this session will close on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
This Session begins with taking the CliftonStrengths assessment which we view as a “tool for self-discovery” and a common launch point for the community to start the conversation. From this session, students will identify talents that come naturally to them and learn how to turn these talents into personal strengths. Students will learn how to maximize these strengths in the classroom, in leadership opportunities, in their relationships and in their careers.
 

VU Groups

Visit your student organization VU Groups page to start the approval process regarding meetings, membership engagement events, and events open to the University community. 

TABLES

Tabling that student organizations regularly engage in, typically near the Connelly Center, the Riley Ellipse, Bartley Hall, and Dougherty Hall, is not permitted at this time during the Spring 2021 semester. 

FLYERS

To have a flyer approved, student organizations must first submit the flyer online to OSI. Student organizations will receive notice of approval where they are then permitted to print the flyer, bring the approved flyer to OSI in Dougherty 102 for a stamp of approval. Then the flyer can be posted on-campus at approved posting locations.
