The UArts MM in Music Education Program

The UArts MM in Music Education is a 33 credit program of study.  The program is designed for music teachers desiring a master of music degree and others interested in studying music education at the graduate level.  The degree can be completed in as few as 3-4 summers but must be completed within 7 years of matriculation.  This course of study is a summer only Masters degree.  This program does not lead to PDE certification (i.e. a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate).  The curriculum consists of:

  • 12-credit core of courses
  • 15 credits in content coursework (electives)
  • 6 credits final project/thesis

Housing Registration

The Housing Registration Form is now available.

Housing is now SOLD OUT for Session 4, which starts 7/22.

Please be sure you are confirmed in your courses with UArts before registering for housing.  Note - if you are a 'last minute' registrant: You must register for housing by noon on Friday for Sunday evening/Monday morning move-in.  Otherwise, a room will not be available for move-in until Monday after class.
